# Introducing Luminite

In a world where DeFi has grown increasingly complex, making it daunting for most crypto newcomers, the need for a simple, secure, all-in-one solution is clear — and Luminite was built precisely for that purpose.

Luminite is a next-generation decentralized wallet that redefines how users interact with digital assets. Unlike traditional crypto wallets that demand manual seed phrase backups and fragmented functions, Luminite offers a streamlined, user-friendly experience with no compromise on security. Users can log in with passkeys or familiar social credentials and immediately access all the powerful DeFi features they need within the wallet.

Built natively on the Flare Network, Luminite leverages Flare’s cross-chain capabilities and FAssets infrastructure to enable seamless interaction between EVM and non-EVM chains like Bitcoin, XRP, and Dogecoin.&#x20;

**With Luminite, users can:**

* Perform Liquid Staking with sFLR
* Lend and Borrow with Kinetic Market
* Trade SparkDEX Perps
* Farm multiple SparkDEX pools
* Bridge assets between EVM and non-EVM blockchains using Fswap
* Perform simple swaps
* On-ramp and off-ramp crypto assets

### Compared to other wallets, Luminite offers the following three Unique Selling Points (USPs):

### Cross-Chain Wallet

Luminite is the first wallet to enable seamless bridging between EVM and non-EVM chains, including sending assets from EVM's to the XRPL or Flare and vice versa.

### Seedless Access

Forget traditional seed phrases. With instant login via passkeys or social credentials, Luminite lowers the barrier of entry into Web3 while preserving user control. Users can still access and back up their private key if desired, but it’s no longer a prerequisite.

### Non-custodial wallet

Luminite is a type of crypto wallet where you, and only you, control your funds. Unlike custodial wallets (where exchanges or platforms hold your private keys), a non-custodial wallet ensures that your assets are always in your hands.

### Our vision

Luminite aims to become the gateway to DeFi for everyone, from crypto natives to first-time users. By combining simplicity, security, and deep ecosystem integration, we envision a world where managing digital assets is as seamless as using everyday apps, while preserving the self-sovereignty and trust-less foundation of blockchain.&#x20;

Flare Network is a perfect ground floor for realizing this vision, with its simplicity and unique technological advantages, including EVM compatibility, low transaction costs, and secure data acquisition through the State Connector and FTSO (Flare Time Series Oracle), making it an ideal environment for DeFi innovation.&#x20;

# Overview of Wallet Features

Experience DeFi at its Strongest

### Wallet features&#x20;

Luminite provides native tools to engage with DeFi opportunities, including swaps, on-ramp, cross-chain bridge, and staking. Yield data is aggregated and visualized within the wallet to give users an intuitive understanding of potential returns.

### Swap

Swapping is exchanging one token for another, like changing from one currency to another. Luminite lets users swap supported tokens such as ETH, USDT, and USDC directly within the wallet, ensuring low fees and minimal slippage. More tokens and networks will be added over time. This built-in swap feature enables users to convert assets instantly, eliminating the need for external platforms and making DeFi easier and safer.

### Staking&#x20;

Staking allows users to lock their tokens within the network to earn rewards, just like a savings account. Luminite currently offers two earning options: FTSO Delegation and FLR Liquid Staking. Each comes with its own benefits, designed to fit different user needs.

### FLR Liquid Staking

Luminite empowers users to stake their $FLR or $WFLR tokens directly through a seamless in-app experience. By depositing tokens into curated, audited vaults powered by Sceptre, users can earn passive income directly within Luminite, without needing to access the Sceptre interface. The vault is currently offering competitive APYs based on market conditions and vault performance.&#x20;

Staked assets remain under the user's control through Luminite's non-custodial design and can be unstaked after a cooldown period, typically 14 days. This feature provides long-term holders with a simple, secure, and efficient way to grow their assets while staying within the Flare ecosystem.

### Staking: FTSO Delegation

For users looking to keep their $FLR tokens accessible while still earning yield, Luminite offers FTSO Delegation. This mechanism allows you to delegate $WFLR or $FLR to Flare data providers who feed real-time price information to the Flare Network.&#x20;

Based on the accuracy and performance of these providers, users receive periodic rewards without locking their tokens. Delegation is flexible, and users can adjust or reassign their providers anytime. Luminite simplifies this process with an intuitive UI, enabling both beginners and advanced users to participate in securing the network while earning passive income.

Here's a clear comparison table between FLR Staking and FTSO Delegation as supported in the Luminite app:

| **Feature**       | **FLR Staking**                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          | **FTSO Delegation**                                     |

### Bridge using Fswap Cross Chain Bridge/Stargate

Bridging enables the transfer of crypto assets across different blockchains. Luminite has integrated **Stargate**, allowing users to bridge assets like ETH, USDT, and USDC from major EVM chains such as Ethereum, Avalanche, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Linea, Base, Kava, and Scroll into the Flare Network.&#x20;

The **FSwap Bridge** is a native Flare bridge designed for minting and redeeming FAssets, such as FXRP. This bridge is fully integrated into the Luminite Wallet under the Bridge tab, allowing users to mint FAssets directly without needing complex wallet connections or multiple interfaces.&#x20;

For users who prefer to bridge assets from wallets other than Luminite, the bridge is available through the web interface[ here.](https://fswap.luminite.app/)

The latest upgraded **Fswap Bridge,** **built by Luminite and powered by FAsset Technology,** transforms how users move assets across chains — not just into Flare, but across the entire EVM landscape. At the core of this upgrade is a simple idea: Users can start on any supported chain - and end on any supported chain. No Limits.

For more information on Fswap, go [here.](/technical-architecture/cross-chain-bridge)

### Lend & Borrow using Kinetic Market

Luminite’s latest integration introduces lending and borrowing functionalities powered by Kinetic Market. This feature allows users to lend and borrow supported assets — currently USDT0 and FXRP — directly within the wallet.

Users can supply their assets as collateral to borrow other tokens on Kinetic, enabling more flexible capital management. While lending, users will earn yield based on the annual percentage yield (APY) offered by the market.

### On-ramp

The on-ramp feature allows users to easily buy crypto using their local currency. Integrated with trusted payment providers, it supports a variety of payment methods such as bank transfer, credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local e-wallets. This makes it simple and secure for newcomers to enter the crypto ecosystem without needing prior experience.

# Stake

## Staking:&#x20;

Luminite currently offers two earning options: FTSO Delegation and FLR Liquid Staking. Each comes with its benefits and trade-offs, designed to fit different user needs. While FLR Staking offers traditional DeFi-style staking in vetted pools, connecting to the pool through the in-app interface, FTSO Delegation is native to the Flare ecosystem, allowing users to support data providers and earn passive income while retaining control of their tokens. Users should carefully consider the features of each option before deciding which one best suits their goals.

## FLR Liquid Staking

Luminite empowers users to stake their $FLR or $WFLR tokens directly through a seamless in-app experience. By depositing tokens into curated, audited vaults powered by Sceptre, users can earn passive income directly within Luminite, without needing to access the Sceptre interface. The vault is currently offering competitive APYs based on market conditions and vault performance.&#x20;

Staked assets remain under the user's control through Luminite's non-custodial design and can be unstaked after a cooldown period, typically 14 days. This feature provides long-term holders with a simple, secure, and efficient way to grow their assets while staying within the Flare ecosystem.

## Staking: FTSO Delegation

For users looking to keep their $FLR tokens accessible while still earning yield, Luminite offers FTSO Delegation. This mechanism allows you to delegate $WFLR or $FLR to Flare data providers who feed real-time price information to the Flare Network.&#x20;

**Here's a clear comparison table between FLR Staking and FTSO Delegation as supported in the Luminite app:**

<table data-header-hidden><thead><tr><th width="222">Feature</th><th>FLR Staking</th><th>FTSO Delegation</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Feature</strong></td><td><strong>FLR Staking</strong></td><td><strong>FTSO Delegation</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Staking </td><td>Instantly</td><td>Instantly, rewards begin in the next reward epoch</td></tr><tr><td>Unstake Duration</td><td>Requires a cooldown period to withdraw assets, typically 14 days.</td><td>Instant</td></tr><tr><td>Lock Token</td><td>Yes — $FLR or $WFLR is locked</td><td>No, you retain full custody of your tokens</td></tr><tr><td>Token Support</td><td>$FLR and $WFLR</td><td>$FLR and $WFLR</td></tr><tr><td>APY</td><td>Currently >45%, but it may vary depending on sFLR: FLR exchange rate</td><td>Currently up to 8.0%, depending on provider performance</td></tr><tr><td>Fee</td><td><p>A 4.40% buy-in fee is applied during the 23-day snapshot period to protect existing stakers' APR. # Cross Chain Bridge

## Fswap Cross Chain Bridge (FAssets Bridge)

**Fswap Bridge,** **built by Luminite and powered by FAsset Technology,** transforms how users move assets across chains — not just into Flare, but across the entire EVM landscape. At the core of this upgrade is a simple idea: Users can start on any supported chain - and end on any supported chain. No Limits.

Flare serves as the **interoperability layer** that makes this possible behind the scenes, enabling multiple ecosystems to connect in ways that previously required several steps, multiple bridges, and unnecessary fees. This means the experience is no longer limited. It now unlocks **universal routing.**

### **Fswap Route Example Use Cases:**

• Arbitrum ➜ Base&#x20;

• Optimism ➜ Polygon&#x20;

• Ethereum ➜ HyperEVM&#x20;

• XRPL ➜ any EVM&#x20;

• any EVM ➜ XRPL

For example, users can now bridge their ETH on Arbitrum to XRP on the XRPL in a single click - without ever leaving the UI. This upgrade represents a major breakthrough for the Flare ecosystem, strengthening XRPfi on Flare and encouraging more liquidity to flow seamlessly from the broader EVM ecosystems into Flare.

### Supported Chains

FSwap currently supports the following chains:

> *Complementary to the Flare Network and the XRPL.*

| **Chain**    | **Address**                                  |

Luminite aims to expand beyond Stargate, enabling broader interoperability and token diversity in the future with the launch of FAssets on Flare Network.&#x20;

Coming very soon, users will be able to unlock XRP and other non-EVM assets' utilities on Luminite.&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2FmndQT2Rve8xLXx0OkX1N%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=3f34af90-616d-4f74-854b-72b1c7ba75fb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Swap

## Simple Swaps

Luminite includes a built-in token swap feature that allows users to exchange supported tokens directly within the wallet interface. While swapping is limited to high-liquidity assets such as ETH, USDT, and USDC on the Flare Network, it ensures minimal slippage and competitive fees.&#x20;

As the platform evolves, more token pairs and networks will be added to support wider DeFi engagement. With seamless swaps integrated into the Luminite experience, users can convert assets instantly without needing to rely on external DEXs or centralized platforms, enhancing both convenience and safety.

<br>

# FAssets

## The Launch of FAssets on Flare Network&#x20;

The Flare Network introduces a breakthrough in DeFi interoperability with the introduction of FAssets.

<mark style="background-color:$info;">What are FAssets?:</mark>&#x20;

<mark style="background-color:$info;">FAssets are Decentralized, overcollateralized representations of non-smart contract tokens like XRP, BTC, and DOGE.</mark>&#x20;

These assets, such as FXRP, FBTC, and FDOGE, enable traditionally non-programmable assets to securely and trustlessly enter the world of smart contracts. The FAsset system leverages a multi-agent, multi-collateral mechanism, combined with Flare’s Core Vault infrastructure, to ensure that assets are minted and redeemed in a decentralized manner. This structure enables users to maintain full custody of their base assets while interacting with DeFi utilities natively on the Flare Network.

Luminite integrates directly with the FAsset system, making it simple for users to bridge their non-EVM assets into Flare. Within the wallet interface, users can mint FAssets by locking their native assets through the agent model, without the need for wrapping or relying on centralized exchanges. Once minted, FAssets can be used across DeFi utilities available in Luminite, including yield vaults, swaps, and staking protocols, though they remain subject to the inherent limitations of their underlying assets.

By supporting the minting, management, and full lifecycle use of FAssets, Luminite enables users to unlock the yield-generating potential of assets like XRP and BTC without relinquishing control or navigating technical complexity. This seamless integration positions Luminite as a core gateway into the emerging XRPFi economy and the broader cross-chain DeFi ecosystem powered by Flare.

# Turnkey Integration: Powering Secure, Seedless Access

A new approach to Non-Custodial Wallets

One of the core innovations behind Luminite is its **non-custodial architecture -** delivered without the traditional complexity of seed phrases. This is made possible through our integration with **Turnkey**, a secure key management infrastructure that enables seamless, user-friendly access without compromising on ownership or security.

With Turnkey, Luminite strikes a crucial balance: giving users full control over their assets while removing the biggest barrier to entry in DeFi - **private key management**.

### What Is Turnkey?

<mark style="color:$info;">**Turnkey**</mark> <mark style="color:$info;"></mark><mark style="color:$info;">is a next-generation key management platform built specifically for crypto applications. It allows apps like Luminite to create and manage private keys</mark> <mark style="color:$info;"></mark><mark style="color:$info;">**directly in the user’s browser or device**</mark><mark style="color:$info;">, while still ensuring keys are</mark> <mark style="color:$info;"></mark><mark style="color:$info;">**non-custodial and never exposed to third parties**</mark><mark style="color:$info;">.</mark>

Using cutting-edge secure enclave technology (like TPMs and WebAuthn), Turnkey ensures:

* Keys are generated and stored securely, never shared with Luminite or any server.
* Access is tied to familiar authentication methods like **passkeys, biometrics, or social logins**.
* Users can recover access securely without relying on 12 or 24-word seed phrases.

### Why Luminite Chose Turnkey

Luminite's mission is to make DeFi **safe, simple, and accessible -** and Turnkey helps us do exactly that. Traditional wallets force users to become amateur security experts just to participate. With Turnkey:

* **Security is upgraded, not sacrificed**. Keys remain in the user’s control but are protected using modern security standards.
* **No more lost seed phrases**. Users authenticate with methods they already understand, reducing the risk of total loss.
* **Instant onboarding**. New users can create a secure wallet in seconds - using social credentials or passkeys - without ever handling a private key directly.
* **Advanced users still have control**. For those who want full backup access or seed phrase management, Luminite provides that flexibility.

### Seedless, Not Trustless

Luminite with Turnkey doesn’t eliminate seed phrases - it makes them optional. For users who still want to export their keys or manage them manually, that power remains. But for everyone else, Turnkey allows the benefits of non-custodial security without the traditional hurdles.

In essence, **Luminite makes self-custody invisible -** delivering security in the background while keeping the user experience front and center.

#### Built for the Future of Web3

Turnkey isn’t just a short-term solution - it’s part of Luminite’s long-term vision to make decentralized finance truly **mainstream-ready**. By using trusted, developer-grade infrastructure and adhering to best-in-class security protocols, we’re building a wallet that scales with users - from their first transaction to complex DeFi strategies.

Luminite and Turnkey together unlock a new standard: **non-custodial without the chaos**.

\
This tutorial is broken down into 3 sections. You can proceed through all 3 to get the full rundown, or skip ahead to sections that are most relevant to your trading needs.

🔶 Section 1: Getting Set Up

🔶 Section 2: Opening Your First Position

🔶 Section 3: Pro Mode — Utilizing SparkDEX’s Advanced Features

### &#x20;Section 1: Getting Set Up

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2FZwYKKh7qGiXreaar34Xh%2Funknown.jpeg?alt=media&amp;token=64747bc2-5ff4-41e0-8753-14c2351dbe06" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Section 2: Opening Your Position

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2FtoEYp0psOyRVoO204u38%2Funknown.png?alt=media&amp;token=f333a2fe-d723-439a-905d-ab9cc6b4c854" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### 1. Select Pair&#x20;

To begin, open the dropdown menu on the left side of the screen and select the pair you would like to open a position for.

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2FtXcxE9vmfmt3IU6DEyQz%2Funknown.jpeg?alt=media&amp;token=b417f07a-8bc6-4d88-96e6-1e88676b0910" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### 2. Dashboard:&#x20;

SparkDEX Perps dashboard displays key metrics related to each contract. From left to right:<br>

* Current Order Book Prices: The top figure is a measure of the lowest ask (selling) price, and the bottom figure is a measure of the highest bid (buying) price.
* 24h Data: The highest and lowest prices in the last 24 hours, and the percentage change.
* 1h Funding Fee: The left (red) figure measures the hourly rate at which long positions pay shorts. The right (green) figure measures the hourly rate at which shorts pay longs. For more information, hover your cursor over each rate. A complete breakdown of SparkDEX Eternal’s Funding Fee mechanism is available \[[HERE](https://docs.sparkdex.ai/sparkdex-defi-ecosystem/sparkdex-eternal-perps-exchange/funding-rates-on-sparkdex-eternal)].
* Fee Discount: Users staking SparkDEX’s native token, $SPRK, receive fee discounts of up to 20% on all perpetuals trades. Full details on $SPRK staking benefits and fee discount tiers are available \[[HERE](https://docs.sparkdex.ai/sparkdex-defi-ecosystem/staking)].

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2Furh9wD8YIIIq2e7USj0y%2Funknown.jpeg?alt=media&amp;token=61896f05-0743-467c-9263-6bd87ee81b20" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### 3. Choose Long or Short

Once you have chosen your contract, you can open a Long position, where you buy the ETH-USD contract and profit as ETH’s price rises. Alternatively, you can open a Short position, where you sell the contract and profit as ETH’s price falls.

![](https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2FeHoL9o8kOfMnTcLjbWAj%2Funknown.jpeg?alt=media\&token=d4dc057e-7b93-446b-947a-d6715ff180e6)

#### 4. Order Type&#x20;

Now, determine what type of order you would like to use to open a position:

* Market Order opens a position immediately at the best available price, buying or selling contracts into the existing orders that populate the order book.&#x20;
* Limit Order places an entry in the order book at a designated price that may be filled by other traders.
* Market Orders provide instant market entry, but can result in worse entry prices, while Limit Orders offer better control over entry price, but risk never being executed if the market moves in the opposite direction.

![](https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2FI5GwddCK1xCcgCO6Zhu3%2Funknown.png?alt=media\&token=86eb836d-7a23-4fa7-800f-d81786dad64e)

#### 5. Collateral

In order to trade perps, users must deposit assets to the platform as collateral. SparkDEX Eternal currently supports 4 different assets as collateral: USDT0, WFLR, sFLR, and FXRP. To proceed, select your collateral type and determine the amount you want to deposit. In the example below, the user deposits 10 sFLR as collateral.

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2FcMcMSp6krE55FAxawZCu%2Funknown.jpeg?alt=media&amp;token=de7ffc7c-f311-4af1-b0f7-3023a508780b" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### 6. Leverage&#x20;

Use the leverage slider to determine how much you would like to amplify your exposure. To mirror a normal spot position, move the leverage slider to 1x.

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2FZGYYxNdNeQ8aT7KQ2A5L%2Funknown.jpeg?alt=media&amp;token=1baec914-b9c7-4374-99f4-93089f167efb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### 7. Accept the Terms and Conditions

Accept to verify you acknowledge them

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2F59qVdu6MnIWGt09RExlG%2Funknown.jpeg?alt=media&amp;token=c893d9f8-aec3-4421-be5a-5226aea25547" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### 8. Long/Short

Use the green Long or red Short button to open your position

Note: Approve the token used as collateral if needed

#### 9. Check your Positions

Check your positions, orders, or history directly below the trading view chart.

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2Fxp4dPwjQJCfmfmBQFwwB%2Funknown.png?alt=media&amp;token=811e617c-4d3d-4d29-a58b-b30ac0c9f495" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Section 3: Pro Mode — Utilizing SparkDEX’s Advanced Features

The best part: you can utilize SparkDEX’s advanced features even before opening a position.&#x20;

#### 1. Activating Pro Mode:&#x20;

Prior to opening a position, click on the gray “Pro Trading” button. It will slide to the right and turn green, as a dropdown menu appears with all of SparkDEX’s advanced trading features.

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2FCIL7HMqxf9dieZwNU6TF%2Funknown.jpeg?alt=media&amp;token=ffef8cff-d2b7-4398-8331-ab6352bee67f" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### 2. Advanced Trading Features:&#x20;

Each of SparkDEX Eternal’s 5 advanced trading features has a simple function that vastly reduces risk or locks in profits, depending on your strategy.

* Stop Loss: Designate a price where your position will automatically close if the market moves against you, protecting your remaining collateral, and avoiding liquidation.

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2FZd8ki51uMmXthCecxZT9%2Funknown.png?alt=media&amp;token=80f70662-89d3-4d95-9fff-a1684afa9e2b" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Take Profit: Designate price where your position will automatically close once the market moves in your favor, locking in profits before the market can turn around.

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2F5f9KLBscEfuYe4Lw52HN%2Funknown.png?alt=media&amp;token=fd7e6bbd-6418-4e4b-a083-c9cc6d690908" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Trailing Stop: Designate a moving price buffer that follows the market in your favor and automatically closes your position only when the price reverses by your designated buffer value, locking in profits while allowing market momentum to drive further gains.

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2F5SXuxpcMCOfqPs0G4Sq9%2Funknown.png?alt=media&amp;token=75488d05-266d-4314-ac75-ebdc04c4e0dc" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Reduce Only: Ensure that any new order you place can only decrease or close your existing position, thereby limiting exposure.
* Protect Order: Ensure that SparkDEX Eternal automatically adds stop loss and take profit levels to your trades, maximally managing volatility upon opening a position.

<figure><img src="https://989274273-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMtKxves9QxzLkgVKYCT%2Fuploads%2FB3canPwoiJnWqZeWOHPP%2Funknown.png?alt=media&amp;token=aa102d52-c65e-4a8f-b10e-f240507171bd" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

4\. Enable as collateral

* Toggle Enable as collateral ON if you plan to borrow against this supply. If you do not want it used as collateral, leave it OFF.

# FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

<table><thead><tr><th width="166"></th><th>Question</th><th>Answer</th><th>Topic</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>1</td><td>What chains can I bridge tokens to inside Luminite?</td><td>Luminite currently uses Stargate to support bridging between Ethereum, Flare, Avalanche (AVAX), Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Linea, Base, Kava, and Scroll. More chains will be added in the future without Stargate limitations to ensure greater interoperability.</td><td>Bridge</td></tr><tr><td>2</td><td>Can I bridge to all cryptocurrencies using Luminite app?</td><td>Not all. Currently, only major tokens like ETH, USDT, and USDC are supported. This ensures low fees and smooth cross-chain functionality. More tokens may be supported as Luminite expands.</td><td>Bridge</td></tr><tr><td>3</td><td>Can I buy crypto with my local currency?</td><td>Yes. Luminite integrates with global payment providers to allow purchases via bank transfer, credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local e-wallets.</td><td>Buy and Sell Crypto</td></tr><tr><td>4</td><td>What are FAssets and how does it work in Luminite?</td><td>FAssets are a wrapped version of non-EVM tokens (e.g., XRP, DOGE) that can interact with smart contracts on EVM-compatible chains. Luminite lets you mint, hold, and use FAssets within your wallet (Once FAssets launch on Flare Network.)</td><td>FAssets</td></tr><tr><td>5</td><td>Does Luminite support multi-devices?</td><td>Yes. It works in all browsers on mobile and desktop. You can log in from a new device using your email or passkey.</td><td>Login</td></tr><tr><td>11</td><td>What networks does Luminite support?</td><td>Luminite supports both EVM chains (Ethereum, BNB, Polygon, etc.) and non-EVM chains (like XRP via Flare).</td><td>Multi-chain</td></tr><tr><td>12</td><td>What does “non-custodial” mean?</td><td>It means you fully control your keys and crypto. Luminite doesn’t store your funds, keys, or credentials.</td><td>Protection</td></tr><tr><td>13</td><td>Are the vaults audited or verified?</td><td>Yes. Luminite is audited by reputable security firms. All integrated DeFi vaults are vetted for safety and performance.</td><td>Protection</td></tr><tr><td>14</td><td>Can my wallet be hacked?</td><td>It’s highly unlikely. Luminite never stores private keys. Wallets are protected by a passkey or email with optional 2FA and biometrics.</td><td>Protection</td></tr><tr><td>15</td><td>Does Luminite store my private keys or personal data?</td><td>No. You fully control your keys. Luminite stores no sensitive data.</td><td>Protection</td></tr><tr><td>16</td><td>Is Luminite audited?</td><td>Yes. Audit details and certificates will be published at a later stage.</td><td>Protection</td></tr><tr><td>17</td><td>How can I earn rewards by referring friends?</td><td>Referral programs will be introduced soon. Stay tuned.</td><td>Referral</td></tr><tr><td>18</td><td>Is my staked crypto locked? Can I withdraw anytime?</td><td>With FLR Liquid Staking (via Scepter), yes—unstaking requires a 14-day cooldown. With the FTSO delegation, your tokens remain accessible and can be unstaked anytime.</td><td>Staking</td></tr><tr><td>19</td><td>Which tokens can I stake with Luminite?</td><td>You can stake $FLR and $WFLR. More staking options will be added as the Flare ecosystem grows.</td><td>Staking</td></tr><tr><td>20</td><td>What is the staking APY (Annual Percentage Yield)?</td><td>The annual percentage yield (APY) is the interest rate earned on an investment in one year, including compounding interest. APY varies by vault and market conditions. Luminite offers competitive yields via vetted DeFi protocols.</td><td>Staking</td></tr><tr><td>21</td><td>Will staking rewards be automatically added to my wallet?</td><td>Rewards accumulate in real time and are claimable once the staking period ends.</td><td>Staking</td></tr><tr><td>22</td><td>Will staking rewards be added automatically?</td><td>The app itself is secure. The main risk is market fluctuation of $FLR. Long-term holders may still benefit from rewards.</td><td>Staking</td></tr><tr><td>23</td><td>What is staking through FTSO Delegation?</td><td>You delegate $FLR to data providers. Tokens remain accessible, and you receive rewards based on provider performance.</td><td>Staking</td></tr><tr><td>24</td><td>What is the difference between different FTSO parties?</td><td>FTSO = Flexible &#x26; provider-based rewards. Liquid staking = Locked tokens &#x26; protocol-based yield. Both have variable APYs.<br></td><td>Staking</td></tr><tr><td>25</td><td>Will I loose money if $FLR drops in price?</td><td>Your token count stays the same, but the value may decrease. If $FLR rises, staking can offer compounding gains.<br></td><td>Staking</td></tr><tr><td>26</td><td>Can I swap all tokens using Luminite wallet?</td><td>Not yet. Currently, only selected tokens are available for swapping. More will be added over time.<br></td><td>Swap</td></tr><tr><td>27</td><td>Does Luminite charge fees for transactions?</td><td>No platform fees are charged, but gas/network or bridge service fees may apply and are shown before confirming a transaction.<br></td><td>Transaction</td></tr><tr><td>28</td><td>Are there limits to sending or swapping?</td><td>No platform-enforced limits. Transactions depend on wallet balance and service provider terms.<br></td><td>Transaction</td></tr><tr><td>29</td><td>Can I use multiple Luminite wallets at the same time</td><td>Yes, you can! Luminite allows you to create and manage multiple wallets under a single email account. With just one tap, you can add an additional wallet whenever you want, no need to sign up again or manage multiple logins.<br></td><td>Wallet</td></tr><tr><td>30</td><td>Can I import other wallet address into Luminite?</td><td>Yes. You can import these using seed phrase or private key.</td><td>Wallet</td></tr><tr><td>31</td><td>Can I export Luminite wallet addresses to other wallets?</td><td>Yes. You can export your seedphrase or private key to use in other Web3 wallets. Use caution to avoid phishing and risky dApps.<br></td><td>Wallet</td></tr><tr><td>32</td><td>What is the difference between FTSO delegation and FLR Liquid Staking?</td><td>FTSO keeps tokens accessible, and rewards depend on provider performance. Liquid staking locks tokens and yield is based on staking demand.<br></td><td>Staking</td></tr><tr><td>33</td><td>Why should I delegate my WFLR tokens to FTSO data providers?<br></td><td>By delegating your WFLR tokens, you can earn rewards if the data provider to whom you delegated your tokens is successful. FTSO data providers provide exchange rates from exchanges to the Flare network (e.g., ETH/USD rate), and if they provide better (more precise) rates, they receive higher rewards. Note that by delegating, you still keep all your WFLR tokens and can use them freely.<br></td><td>Staking FTSO</td></tr><tr><td>34</td><td>To whom should I delegate my tokens?</td><td><br>The list of FTSO data providers is available <a href="https://flare-systems-explorer.flare.network/providers">here</a>. The main criterion to watch out for is the reward rate, which shows the current reward rate (in percentage). The higher the reward rate, the bigger your reward will be.<br></td><td>Staking FTSO</td></tr><tr><td>35</td><td>Do I immediately start earning rewards after I delegate my tokens?<br></td><td>No. Rewards are distributed in units that are called epochs. Each epoch lasts 3 and a half days (84 hours). You will be entitled to a reward for a specific epoch if you delegated your WFLR tokens to a data provider before the so-called snapshot block for that epoch happened. This block is randomly selected around a day before an epoch started. For example, if an epoch started on January 1, you should have delegated your tokens before December 31, and you will be entitled to the reward after the epoch ends.<br></td><td>Staking FTSO</td></tr><tr><td>36</td><td>Do I have to delegate my tokens before every epoch starts?<br></td><td>No, once you delegate your tokens to an FTSO data provider, the system assumes that you will be delegating to this provider from now on (until you change it).<br></td><td>Staking FTSO</td></tr><tr><td>37</td><td>How can I change my delegation?<br></td><td>You just click on the Delegate button, select a different data provider, and click the submit button. If you're re-delegated before the snapshot block for the next epoch, the new delegation will already be used in this epoch; otherwise, the old delegation will still be used.<br></td><td>Staking FTSO</td></tr><tr><td>38</td><td>How high of a reward will I receive?<br></td><td>The amount of WFLR tokens you delegate is determined at the epoch’s snapshot block. This amount is then multiplied by the reward rate (as a percentage) that the provider to whom you delegated your tokens achieved by the end of this epoch.<br></td><td>Staking FTSO</td></tr><tr><td>39</td><td>How do I claim my delegation rewards?<br></td><td>The table will show your unclaimed delegation rewards for specific epochs. By selecting them and clicking on the Claim button, you will receive these rewards in WFLR tokens to your account. Be careful to claim your rewards regularly, as they will be revoked 90 days after a specific epoch ends.<br></td><td>Staking FTSO</td></tr><tr><td>40</td><td>What is the function of an executor?<br></td><td>Executors are addresses you entrust to claim your rewards for your account (and your PDA). You can set your own service to simplify claiming or select an existing service that will regularly claim for you for a fee. Note that executors can only claim to your account (or to your PDA) and cannot perform other actions on your account.</td><td>Staking FTSO</td></tr></tbody></table>
